RECOVERY BOOTCAMP


RESIDENT'S GUIDELINES

 

 

This program is designed to assist individuals who have not lost everything YET!!! and to heighten all aspects of the possibility of life-long recovery.

1.  All residents are responsible to follow all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
2.  Residents following the Recovery Boot Camp Program will need to meet certain criteria plus Director approval.

TENTATIVE APPROVAL CRITERIA (must meet at least 7 of 10 to be considered)
a) Married with children.                 
b) Have a house or apartment in which prospective resident is currently living and welcome to continue living with their family.
c) Have a longstanding career job or fully operating business.
d) Have had previous extensive time in 12-Step recovery programs and possibly treatment modalities.
e) Have had past substantial clean time or sobriety and a sponsor.
f) Have had the opportunity to have worked through at least the fifth step with a sponsor in the past.
g) Be somewhat financially stable.
h) Have a driver’s license, a car, and insurance on that car.
i) Not on probation or parole and no outstanding warrants.
j) Family will need to agree to come to the next Family Program.

We know this sounds unlikely for an addicted person, but you never know.

3.  Resident will make a commitment after the initial orientation (2-4 weeks),  to remain at Serenity for at least an additional two months.
4.  Begin ninety meetings in ninety days and step work with sponsor.  We anticipate resident to complete at least the first three steps while in the program, preferably the first five steps.
5.  Put recovery first before family and work. Stay close to the house and get involved in recovery  with other residents.
6.  Stay up to date with house bills and be paid in full prior to leaving.
7.  Resident will receive an Administrative Discharge until completion of the Continued Care Plan, six months after moving back in with family. Then they will be given a Successful Discharge with all the trimmings.
