THINGS TO BRING TO SERENITY HOUSE AND HOUSE OF FREEDOM AND MIRACLES 4/06
1. Yourself – Clean & sober for 30 days preferably. Also $375 - $600, if possible to assist with admission fee, deposit, and first week rent.
2. Clothes – To fit the next two seasons. PJ’s, slippers, shoes, socks, jeans, pants, shirts (None alcohol or other drug related), sweats, sweaters, jacket, sneakers, undergarments, etc.
3. Bedding – Sheets (For single bed), pillows, blankets, towels, wash clothes, etc
4. A large rubber or plastic tub with lid and no holes to use as a laundry basket and hamper, laundry detergent, softeners, bleach, etc.
5. Toiletries – Soap, shampoo, conditioner, razor, shaving cream, q-tips, deodorant, hairdryer, nail clipper, comb, brush, after shave, toothbrush, toothpaste, NON-ALCOHOL mouthwash, etc.
6. If you are taking any prescription medication please bring them in their original pharmacy bottle with label in tact.
7. Picture I.D. – State I.D., Drivers License, Social Security Card, Passport, Credit Cards, Food stamps, any other I.D., etc.
8. Alarm Clock – Moderate jewelry, family photo’s, music, CD player, recovery literature.
9. OK to bring – Cameras, Cell Phone (with prior approval), cigarettes.
10. No Weapons, No Pornography, No TV’s, NO Stereo’s
11. A Car – If you have a valid driver’s license, and current insurance.
(It will be at least two weeks before you will have full access.)
12. Any thing not mentioned on this list please ask first.
All needed items that you cannot provide for yourself, we will try to assist you with.
